Venice through my lens

Bella Italia.

Venice, the Italian city that’s made up of 118 small islands connected by 400 bridges.

Famous for its canals, gondolas, narrow streets and beautiful architecture, it’s a tourist hotspot for sure.

For the last thousand years, it has been a powerful independent state, a colony of the French and Austrian empires and ultimately becoming part of the Kingdom of Italy in 1866, five years after Italy became a country.
